One of the features of our syrups we take the most pride in, is that they are so versatile! We know we speak most about how they make amazing cocktails (and oh, do they), but they are great for so many other drinks as well. This week, we wanted to spend some time sharing just a few very easy and refreshing mocktails.
With the holidays fast approaching, we recognize there may be some of our friends who have decided to go without and we still want you to have a drink in your hand to toast with at all the parties. But hey, who says you have to wait? We have been known to throw a splash of our own syrup in our drinks for lunch just to keep things fresh. And if you stumbled on this blog looking for cocktails, guess what? A splash of your favorite spirit will turn these into a light, simple cocktail. Happy Sipping!
For starters, we thought it worth mentioning that all of our syrups taste amazing when you simply add them to chilled sparkling water. It’s like making your own little italian soda, but even simpler. And cheaper! But in case you want to get a little more involved, we’ve got a few others to give a shot.

This is one of our very first creations when we got in the syrup game. It’s an easy and beautiful cocktail to serve around the holidays. You can easily create a pitcher of these so you can refill glasses around the table all night!
Strawberry Basil Breeze
- 1 oz Strawberry Basil syrup
- ½ oz Lime Juice
- Top with soda water
Add syrup and lime juice to a tall glass, stir together. Add ice to mixture and top with soda water. Simple and easy!
More of a blackberry fan? This recipe has just three easy ingredients and is such an easy sipper. Be ready to make seconds!
Blackberry Spritzer
- ¾ oz Blackberry Mint syrup
- ¾ oz Lemon juice
- Top with soda water
Add syrup and lemon juice to a tall glass, stir together. Add ice to mixture and top with soda water.
Bubbles, but make it ginger. Made this one myself and pretty much gulped it down… it’s so yummy and you can adjust the amount of Lavender depending on how sweet you like your drinks. I usually like my drinks a little less sweet, so I added a little extra lemon. *chefs kiss*
Lavender Fizz
- 3/4 oz Lavender Haze Syrup
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 2 1/2 oz (or to taste) Ginger Ale
Pour Ginger Ale to a copper mug (or whatever you’ve got), add Lavender and lemon juice. Add ice to the whole mixture and stir.
Okay, full disclosure, my mom thought of this one and I wish she had sent me a picture. ‘Cause she’s a genius. Simply grab, or brew, your favorite kind of black tea and some of our syrups and you’re ready to go!
Afternoon Pick Tea Up
- 3 oz black tea (unsweetened is best)
- ¾ oz Blackberry Mint syrup (or you can sub for Strawberry Basil)
- ½ oz Lemon Juice
- Top with soda water for bubbles
Saved the best for last, this drink is great for the holidays because it’s beautiful and bright, but it can easily transition to a delicious summer time drink as well. Plus, the chia seeds basically make it health food. Right?
Coconut Chiller
- 2 oz Coconut water
- 2 oz Strawberry Basil syrup
- ½ oz lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin, add ice and shake for 6-8 seconds. Dump all ingredients from shaker tin into glass. Garnish with unsweetened coconut shreds!
