HipStirs, who is that?
HipStirs specializes in exclusive craft cocktail experiences, tailored to cultivate a lifestyle of community. We offer craft syrups, local cocktail kits for delivery and in-person mixology experiences in Austin, TX. We also have a Lounge located at 3403 South Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX, where we allow a sneak peak into our research & development of our craft cocktail recipes and give the opportunity for you to try some of our featured craft cocktails in-person. When will my order be delivered?
We ask that you give us up to 24-72 hours to process your order and send it out for delivery. You can expect to receive your delivery anywhere from 1-3 business days after your order has been processed! Shoot us an email if you are experiencing any further delays on your order at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where do you deliver to?
If your order contains alcohol, we are currently only able to deliver within Austin, Travis County. However, if your order does not contain alcohol, we can deliver locally & ship our craft syrups nationally. You can also always choose the pick-up option at check out.
How much does delivery cost?
We charge a flat rate of $6.50 for delivery in Travis County, however cost for shipping outside of Travis County or for national orders varies depending on your location.
What’s included in my cocktail kit?
Each kit contains a new and different recipe, so the box's content will vary respectively. However, you can always expect to receive the ingredients necessary to make about four of our delicious craft cocktails, a recipe card with ingredients, and instructions on how to make the cocktail.
Is alcohol included in my cocktail kit?
Due to different liquor laws in the state of Texas & across the nation, we are only able to deliver within Austin, Travis county limits if you select a food add-on when you place your order. If you are unsure if you are within our delivery limits, feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com.
If I placed an order for pick-up when can I pick up my order?
If you purchased something from our online store and you selected the pick-up option, please give us about 1-3 business days to process your order. After that, we will notify you when your order is ready to be picked up at our South Lamar location.
Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 11AM-5PM, however our HipStirs Lounge is open Sunday-Thursday 5PM-9PM & until 10PM on Friday-Saturday.
Do I need to be home when my order arrives?
If you are local and your order includes alcohol, we will need to see a valid ID at the time of delivery. If you have ordered only our craft syrups without alcohol, we will deliver it to your doorstep and you can grab it whenever is convenient for you!
How long will ingredients keep?
We order and package our produce fresh and pack it directly into your box. It is best that as soon as you receive your package you place the fresh ingredients in your fridge!
Our craft syrups will maintain their flavor and freshness at room temperature for up to 2-4 weeks. After opening, refrigerate them and store in an upright position.
How many cocktails will one kit make?
Depending on on how boozy and sweet you prefer your drinks, each kit can make about 4-6 cocktails.
Can I order craft syrups or a cocktail kit as a gift?
That is a great idea, we wish we’d thought of it first! You can order and have a cocktail kit delivered to anywhere within Travis County city limits OR you can ship our craft syrups as a gift nationally. If the gift contains alcohol, we will still need to see an ID to complete the delivery.
I don’t know how to make a cocktail, is this for me?
Absolutely! Our boxes are for all experience levels of mixologists. We will provide you with a recipe card that walks you through exactly how to prepare the drink. If you are already an expert mixologist, these boxes are a fun way to stay inspired and discover new flavorful cocktails to enjoy with the people you love!
My box did not get delivered/my box is missing something/my box is incorrect.
Oh no! We apologize for the mistake and we definitely want to make it right. If your box was not delivered to your address, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure your address is correct in our system. If you are missing an item or received the incorrect order, please leave the items in the box unopened and send us an email. We will verify the order you placed in our system and send the correct items your way!
What is your return policy?
At the current moment, we do not accept returns and therefore refunds cannot be issued in the event a box is shipped back to our store.
If a purchased box arrives damaged or is missing an item, our team will look into the matter and see if that box or single item can be re-delivered. Please shoot an email to email@example.com.
However, sending back boxes no longer wanted, does not warrant a refund as we do not accept returns.
Dietary restrictions - Are your boxes kosher, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free?
The ingredients may vary by box, but for the most part they are friendly to all types of diets. Our syrups are naturally gluten free and made from plants and fruits. If you have any questions about the ingredients of specific items, feel free to reach out to us.
Is HipStirs a retailer of alcohol?
We are not considered a retailer of alcohol. We partner with local retailers and distilleries to provide you with the spirits found in our cocktail kits.
What is the HipStirs Lounge?
The HipStirs Lounge is located at 3403 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78704 and shares a space with Phantasma Kitchen. You can visit our Lounge and try out some of our featured craft cocktails on tap and while enjoying Phantasma pizza & Lechuza tacos.
Can HipStirs host my private or corporate event?
We would absolutely love to! It’s a little different than ordering a box from us, but we’d love to chat with you more about bringing your event to life! What are your hours of operation?
Our store business hours Monday-Sunday 10AM-7PM CST. Please allow 1-2 business days for our team to respond or get back to you. Our Lounge hours are 5PM-9PM, Sunday-Thursday & until 10PM, Friday-Saturday.
Where are you all located?
Our store is located at 3403 South Lamar Boulevard in Austin, TX. This is also where our Lounge is located and where we host events, such as our mixology courses and private parties. If you’re in town come by to shake things up with us & try out some of our new craft cocktails in-person!
