the ratio
Every HipStirs drink starts the same way. Pour your spirit, add the syrup and a squeeze of citrus, then shake or stir. The syrup carries the flavor, the sweetness and the balance, so there is nothing to muddle, measure twice, or guess at.
Going spirit-free? Use 4 to 6 oz of a base liquid in place of the spirit and keep the syrup the same. A bottle of 8 oz makes 4 to 8 drinks, depending on how you pour.
Stir and sip. Want some extra flair? Complement with a garnished rim, sliced fruit, citrus, or herbs.
bases that work
The syrups were made for cocktails, but they are just as happy in anything cold, hot, or fizzy. A few pairings from our own recipes:
| Base | Try it with | From the recipes |
|---|---|---|
| Sparkling water | Blackberry Mint, Lavender Haze | Blackberry Spritzer, Lavender Fizz |
| Lemonade | Lavender Haze | Lavender Lemonade |
| Tea or coffee | Lavender Haze, Pumpkin Spice | Taylor's Version, Pumpkin Spice Latte |
| Sparkling wine | Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry Pie | Pumpkin Patch Mimosa |
